Note this feature was recently added to all new zyBooks. Any active zyBooks do not have the feature but we can easily turn it on for you. If you do not see the feature in your zyBook but would like to try it out, please email support@zybooks.com and we can turn it on for you!
To download a report for the assignments you created, start by navigating to the "Assignments" tab.
Note, to use this feature, your zyBook must have at least one assignment. If you are unfamiliar with our assignments feature, you may wish to read our article on how to create an assignment first.
Next, click the "Report" button at the top of the right side panel.
The reporting feature gives you a few options. You can either download a report summary, which includes assignment scores for all assignments, or you can select an individual report to get a more detailed summary.
The Summary report will have columns with student info, name/email/class section/etc followed by a single row for each assignment.
This report takes into account all assigned activities and all due dates. That means, if you had two sections, say A and B, and they each had a different due date, you would only need to download one report. The students in section A will have scores for activity completed by the section A due date and the students in section B will have scores for activity completed by the section B due date.
Scores are given in terms of percent completed. Each assignment's point value is also provided in parenthesis in the column headings.
In addition to summary reports, you can also download a detailed report for individual assignments. The detailed report will have columns with student info, name/email/class section/etc followed by 5 total columns (overall percentage/overall points/participation percentage/challenge percentage/lab percentage) and finally followed by a column for each section included in the assignment.
